Job Title: ER Nurse FSR # 636 Maternity Cover

This position will cover a maternity leave only

Location: Al Zaatari Camp

Job Summary:

Health care provider.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities 

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Support and promote the implementation of safe quality health care practices for patient as set by the state board of nursing and midwifery.
• Maintain high professional standards of nursing care and provide good role model.
• Identify and assess patients care needs and develop appropriate programs of care in accordance with clinical protocols, nursing quid lines and procedures.
• Actively participate in direct patient care, including administration of medicines, dressings, patient mobilization, and patient hygiene.
• Being ready to respond and equipeed to deal with a medical emergency
• Quickly assessing patient needs
• Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma
• Cleaning-Dressing wounds
• Drawing blood
• Maintaining emergency room care standards
• Assisting with insurance paperwork
• Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process
• Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.

-Administrative:

• Assist doctor in filling patient's medical records for each patient visit.
• Assist doctor on prescription of drug, filling referral form for any referral case outside of clinic
• Assist in filling and maintaining clinic records as required on timely and accurate manner.
• Assist in integration of clinic services and promote best quality standards for clients
• Assist with organizing patients flow in the clinic.

-Trainings:

• Participate in medical and management trainings as determine by IMC.
• Continue self-education to adhere with national/international standards and new advancements in the field of general practice and other relevant medical areas.

Others:

• Ensure integration of clinic services and promote best quality standards for clients.
• Assist with additional tasks as determined to be needed by supervisors.
• Expert knowledge of emergency -Nursing –medicine.
• Active RN license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional multitasking and time-management skills.
• Ability to work closely with a tear and patients.
• Willingness to continually learn the latest advancements in emergency nursing –Medicine.
• Ability to place intravenous lines, set bones and perform other emergency medical tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

 Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor  degree in Nursing.
• Not less than two years of experience, is a must.
• Emergency department experience one year at least is a must.
• ACLS , BLS certified is preferred.
• NGO , experience preferable.
